Need help with baby's first incoming!!!

My wife and I are having a baby due mid January which we are thrilled about. Being of the sentimental sorts, I have in mind to purchase a birth watch for my baby. I want the paperwork dated with their bday, and will go the trusted seller route if they can make it happen.

Since we are not finding out the sex of baby that will not be a factor. I also understand that potentially my kid won't be into watches and I would have to accept that, but I doubt it

Therefore I want to add a piece that fits in my current collection because I WILL WEAR this piece until some memorable event such as their college graduation or wedding where it will be presented as a gift.

I do have my sights set on some other heavy hitters down the road, but I don't see passing those down until I'm closer to on my way out anyways so I've narrowed it down to a stainless Rolex. More or less choosing between the HULK or a BLNR with potential wavering towards a black sub date or no date. I think some color fits nicely in my collection and both the HULK and BLNR are going to be discontinued at some time so I think it is cool to have something from this era so to speak, but what say the good people of TRF?
