New Rolex Onboard
Only got dodgy iPhone pictures for now, but got this during a short break in Leeds. Had a few days shopping and eating, and was interested in this and the Explorer I. In the end the dial on this won me over, and the Explorer was very similar to my Sub 14060M.
Had a very pleasurable time in the AD, with plenty of casual talking and quite a bit of bubbly. Got a free bottle thrown in with the watch too. Had the full on Rolex boutique experience. The watch wears very similarly to the DJ, as you might expect, but is certainly heavier than the DJ I have worn before (which had hollow end links and the old style clasp). The new bracelet and clasp are much more solid. All in all I'm very happy, and think it's actually rather dressy for a watch on a bracelet. The light really catches on the dial and changes the colour and, of course, there's the symmetry from having no date.
