On one hand and I don't think I would mind sharing my watch, but on the other it is a bit like a woman sharing her purse... I never thought about how disgusting that could be until my wife, who worked for Coach for 17 years, explained the nastiness inside a woman's purse whose carried it for years.
Some people keep their watches immaculate but most do not. I've gotten better at giving my watches a weekly scrubbing because I've read these forums but can say some of my "pre-watch collecting watches" could have used a good cleaning back in the day... especially in places where the sun don't shine (on the watch). The more I think about it the more sharing a watch is like sharing underwear... and I guess some people are ok with that. And, BTW, yes, she can borrow mine and I'll borrow hers. |
