Did a little work on my old Tag Heuer last night

I bought this new in '87 I think and wore it 24-7 for 12 years straight.

Needless to say it's been serviced a few times and they changed my bezel insert one time.

Now, almost 30 years later I got a vintage bezel for it. This has the exact same font as the original aluminum one but this one is Bakelite or something. Odd because mine is a transitional Tag and so is the donor. Both mine and the donor have a Heuer bracelet and Heuer Inside the case back. Mine also came in a Heuer blue box (which I still have). I also have mine on a Tag Heuer bracelet now. I believe there is a date code as well on the case back inside but I don't know the decode for it.

These Heuer / Tag Heuer hybrids only existed a year or two as they used up parts.

Anyway, the picture:
