Breeding Mans Best Friend.
So this really p!sses me off when I see the injustice that goes on in the world of Animal breeders.
Take the good old Alsatian (G/S) for example. Back in the '60's it was a stylish, if slightly menacing Dog to own, although generally reserved for men, women as some sort of pen#s extension, or Policemen. As they got more popular, and the masses started to jump on the German Plebherd Dog bandwagon, the breeders decided that a good GSD should have a tail that nearly touched the ground, a sloping back and long nose. Nature itself was far less fussy, demanding only four legs and a Gob full of huge bloody teeth.... Now, four decades later, we are seeing the lethal results of the breeders work, and it really ain't funny for the poor old Dogs. You can buy Boxer dogs, whose faces are so stunted and deformed they can only breathe through their ars# and their combined Noses/ Eyeballs, which is great for de-misting their eyeballs on a cold morning. But hellish when they sneeze, when their eyes do a kind of Yo-yo impression. The previously mentioned GSD only has to go out on a breezy day for one, or both, of it's hips to snap, leaving the once proud Devil dog to drag itself around like a war veteran. And now prey to the newly 'modified' Corgi, who looks for all the world, like a Puerto-Rican car molesters creation. Great Danes are Great, but only for Vets who start dreaming of that new Range Rover in their driveway as soon as one enrols as a new punter, and thanks to the ruthless breeding, many other animals have suffered too. Yet for all this, the so called animal lovers still buy these genetically modified freaks for outrageous amounts of money, and spend the next few years paying for their vanity, and funding the evil b@st@rds who breed irresponsibly. When now you see dogs advertised for sale as GSD/yorkie cross, I have to wonder about the mechanics of the copulation.I strongly suspect breeder intervention either by assisted thrusting, or maybe they just used a set of marigolds gloves and some lube. Vets and breeders are not supposed to dock tails. Yet I have yet to see a Champion at Crufts with a full tail, yet alone a Grand Champion.Puppy farms are an abomination, a canine version of Mengele style experiments; "hey this is a nice dog, let's breed it with this bitch".... no KC certificate, therefore no genealogy(for what that is worth, they don't care). That is where the hip- dysplasia, progressive retinal atrophy and a load of other congenital diseases appear in todays so called pedigree freaks.
