The white-dialed Daytona was my answer for this same problem. I didn't feel comfortable wearing a brown belt, brown shoes, and blue shirts with a black Submariner. I was happier with the green Sub, but eventually migrated to the slimmer 116520 to go with everything. From weddings, to the beach, to my hyper-casual work environment, the Daytona works. I'm working on figuring out what my second piece will be, and it might be a black Sub or a YG DD - two entirely different ends of the spectrum.

I like this idea. I'm not a huge chronograph fan, but the white dial SS Daytona is definitely growing on me.
