Tudor Pelagos.........any and all info is appreciated

Hi everyone,
I had my heart set on a GMT Batman.....however another watch has caught my eye. I recently opened the newest issue of "Outside " magazine, and the inside cover is an advertisement for a beautiful blue Tudor Pelagos. Prior to reading the magazine, I had neither seen nor heard about the Pelagos. The watch looks truly amazing and seems chock full of features.
What is the general feeling about this watch from other forum members? At this point is it popular? Being that it is a Tudor, I assume that the RSC will service the watch? Is Tudor a true step down in quality verses Rolex? Is the warranty the sane between both brands? What type of price might I expect to pay?
