What not to do with you Rolex?

I've heard the adage "Hey do whatever you want with your watch hell throw it in a volcano after all it is a rolex!". And then you meet the camp that keeps their rolex's in a air tight safe for fears of getting a scratch on it. But honestly what can I not do with a Rolex Explorer 2? I honestly don't want to take the thing off my wrist unless I absolutely have too. I shower with it right now wash my face with face wash with it, jump into pools, take it to the beach, etc. I go to saunas often in NYC where the temperatures can reach upwards 196 degrees Fahrenheit, haven't worn it there yet, but would like to if I can. If these things can't take the punishment I just don't get the point of owning one. I know tourneau is in no way affiliated with rolex, but I was on their website while looking up if it's okay to have watches in pools etc, and they said be careful when you dive in to the pool with your watch as you may upset the pressure balance etc, soaps are corrosive, blah blah blah.
