Chadridv, I have delt with Rolex many times over the years and have sent in many watches. Rolex has a policy in order to get a part you must turn in a part. In some cases they have replaced missing parts with no trade in but these are specific exceptions, Hands, dials,crowns bezels and inserts always require a trade in when the part is present on the watch.. I can't see Rolex giving you back parts after your service if they replace them with new ones, I think someone might have made a mistake when they advised you this.
