One week in: yellow and white gold impressions

Thought I'd post my impressions after a week of alternating between my 116619 and my YG DD40.

The best way to describe the difference is an automobile analogy.

White gold is like driving an S class. Some people with casual knowledge will mistake it for a C class (especially since all Benz sedans now look the same, but I digress), but true gearheads will recognize the S class for what it is. Still, it's a really nice car but not too flashy or loud.

Yellow gold is like driving a lime green Aventador. Ain't nobody going to miss it! People who work with me who have never noticed my wrist before now draw their eyes there when I wear it. Definitely takes some getting used to.

With that said, I love 'em both!
