I'm hoping to buy my first Rolex in 18 months for my 30th birthday. I'm new the to site and joined to learn more about Rolex.

While browsing the Classifieds section, I have seen several threads where the seller wants the money wired. What exactly does "wired" mean and what does the seller expect? I'm very familiar with PayPal. Are they one and the same?
