Question for those who like scratches
First, a brief background. I'm thoroughly enjoying researching my first Rolex purchase, though it's very likely several months to a year away. I'm looking hard at a white dial Milgauss and the polar Explorer II. I have little to no realistic need for a 24 hour hand or additional antimagnetic properties, so I'm going strictly on looks. I'm leaning toward the Milgauss (I have not been able to try on the Exp II yet), but I'm concerned about the PCLs because I'm a little OCD.
My question is, do you feel different about scratches and wear on a sport watch versus a more dressy watch? I admit a beat up Sub or Explorer that received its scars during adventure seems more appealing than a Milgauss that I'll bump into office chairs, keyboards and doorframes? Thank you for any input. |
