Something well-worn:)

I know many of you can look at your Rolexes with pride and remember where each and every scratch came from. You keep it clean as much as possible, but you know deep-down that it is for your daily use, anything less would require a place in a museum behind plate glass.

I take pleasure in knowing that other things which I have purchased in the past will take on a character of their own, also. A quality well-worn pen, for example; or an antique cigar case passed down to me from my grandfather. Perhaps its that old set of Pings you cannot part with after 18 years and countless rounds of golf; a favorite road bike you take out daily, logging on 20-30 miles before work, which might show wear and tear, but she still feels as good to you as she did the day you bought her. This list is but a few other possessions of mine that are well-worn but bring me pleasure in that "worn state." What's on your list?
