I hope you learn to enjoy your father's watch. I don't wear my Rolex as a status symbol. I wear them because they are a remarkable piece of engineering and design. And when I wear the Rolex I inherited from my father I always relish the connection that it brings me. It is an old and valuable watch. So I don't wear it daily. But it is the perfect watch to wear on a day off. And the act of taking it out and putting it on is like a little ritual bringing me back memories of a man who I miss dearly.
