First Rolex arrived yesterday
Yesterday I received my first Rolex, a 14060M Z-serial 2-liner, and I couldn't be happier. My wife and I have a son that just turned 3, and I've loved the idea of getting a watch built to last that I can wear 24/7 and pass down to him when he's of age. I went through all sorts of options but ultimately fell in love with this watch -- clean 2-liner dial, the lug holes, no engraved rehaut, and of course the lovable 93150 bracelet that fits like a glove. This watch just sings to me, and it's built to last a lifetime.
A big thanks to those on this forum that helped my decision. I posted several threads looking for feedback on various watches, and everyone was incredibly helpful. I'm new to TRF, but can already tell this is a unique place. And I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed getting to do a deal with takuya. His reputation on this forum is absolutely warranted -- 100% smooth transaction, quick communication, and followed up immediately. I can't imagine a seller being better to work with than him. Just top notch. Without further ado, here's a picture. The watch does have a small scratch on the bezel and a couple of very minor scratches on the crystal which don't show up in the picture. I was planning to take it to get the movement serviced at some point and will replace those, but I might hold off now because I don't think I'll be able to get it off my wrist for some time |
