Icon14 Hello from Canada

Just joined the site. I'm a grain trader by day, and want to trade my way up to a Gold Yacht-Master II by night.

Have had an 1978/79 oyster perpetual date that my brother in law let me buy from him years ago, and have always thought it is cool. Cheapest watch I have ever owned because it appreciates with inflation every year....most watches go to zero after you buy them.

So, do you think it's possible to turn a 1978/79 date into a 2017 Gold Yacht-Master II in a few years? I don't know either, but is sounds like fun to try,and if you're interested, please follow me 7 feel free to help me as this is all new to me.

Purchase and sales will be largely off site (unless I can figure out how to use the For Sale section), but I'll try to post updates of how it's going.
