It might depending on what happened and what the process is that is in play now.

If it was rusty it takes time to clean it out and it's gonna require some parts...

Depending on his work load...and also these things are things you often don't do all at once because you have to sort of change hats...

Did they send it off to Rolex even?

You might ask if it being done in house and just nicely see if they will let you speak to the watchmaker on premise and see what his thoughts are on it and how it is coming.

Maybe go in person and even give them a head's up that you would like to come in and talk with him.
