...what a BEAUTIFUL feeling!

....eleven days and 93 minutes ago I dropped my beautiful daughter at the airport.

She had just received all her grades, with great numbers, so my promise to let her visit my brother in AZ was due.

One night before, we went over all issues on traveling alone; this would be her first time by herself; and listening to her speak gave me confidence...she is a gorgeous, mature, smart teenager ready to take over the world. To me, the first time I was letting my baby experience this alone...she had travelled before with friends or family, but never solo.

As I watched her lead the check-in process and double check passport and travel documents; she hugged me and gave my a good-bye kiss. Tears rolled down. We both shared this moment...no words. Just love and some tears.

Today, after a quick business trip, I woke up with a big smile on my face. I have been smiling all day....singing....humming...just in a great mood. Why? My baby is coming back tonight!

As I try to understand this, I get it: there is no understanding. It is pure and simple love. That beautiful warmth in your heart when you know your loved one is coming back....my friends: what a BEAUTIFUL feeling.

Merry Christmas to all of my virtual family; enjoy and savor every moment as time will fly and very soon the Holidays will be over. From my family to all of you, a big hug and our best wishes.

...to me....my baby is coming back home! My life is complete again!
