114270 Help Needed
Hi Everyone,
I went to check out an F8XXXXX serial (2005) 114270 today and the pictures are below. Apologize for the lighting, as I had to take these with my cell phone indoors. The watch seemed in good shape and it also comes with B&P. Some of questions and/or concerns which I need your thoughts on (ranked by priority): 1 - when I pushed down the crown to screw it tight, it made a clicking sound until it was fully closed. Is this normal? This doesn't happen with either of my other Rolexes and quite frankly was the biggest issue why I didn't purchase today. What would cause this? 2 - when I was winding the watch, it didn't seem very smooth and it made a clicking sound. However, this may just be because the watch was fully wound? 3 - how does the watch look to you guys cosmetically? Lugs seemed okay to me but I can definitely tell they've been polished. This is completely fine as it's 13 years old but do they seem over-polished to you? Anything else you see? 4 - I didn't see a bracelet number stamped on the back of the bracelet, is that normal? 5 - it comes with 12 links, is that the full amount or is 13 correct? Thanks everyone! Looking forward to your help here. |
