I have often surfed with my various Rolex on over the years, without any issues.
More danger leaving it on the beach and it getting stolen. But never used them in large surf, with large impact potential. I can't comment on using one on a jet ski. There is no love lost between surfers and jet ski riders where I surf (due to jet ski riders coming into the line up to go wave jumping). But I would imagine if you came off at speed and hit the water it could quite easily rip your watch off. I have seen a good few jet ski riders in a bad way after falling off (unconscious etc) and need rescuing. |
