People are going to tip because they have been trained to tip.
In Vegas there isn't some sub-minimum wage for tip earners, they all make union scale or Nevada minimum, which is a buck above the fed. Everybody still tips, and tips big, especially tourists..... Maitre' ds and head waiters are making more than you with their tips.
