Would you still tip when restaurants start to pay full minimum wage?

The same would be done in a UK pub/bar for a regular yet you don't need to tip the bar staff to pour you drink or open a bottle. It baffles me that they need a tip for such a simple task.

I just find the tipping culture bizarre as I've not grown up with it.
