Jubilee bracelet - is it possible to determine authenticity
Hi all and thanks for looking at my post.
I've bought a Rolex Jubilee bracelet of ebay and I'm currently trying to determine the authenticity. I've talked to the local AD, they did however not offer authenticity service and did not know "vintage" very well. I've tried an auction house but they on the other hand did not have capacity to take on any authenticity services at the moment. Therefore i'm looking to see if it is possible to determine authenticity through pictures. This is taken from a 1977 Rolex GMT Master, it is unceratin if it is original to the watch and since stamped "C" this should be -78? To me the buckle and end links look like they are stamped "by hand" and not something i would expect but maybe beeing a 1977/78 production this is in order? Also the end links are made for cases without lug holes which vere phased out eraly 2000 and thus end links have been replaced over the years? I'm utterlygratefull for any help in this matter Regards |
