I have to disagree that people don't recognize your watch.
Maybe they don't recognize yours or its just the area you live in where there are an abundance.
I have to say I have been looking hard to spot some in the wild where I live and haven't seen very many or at least as many as I thought I would have.
Maybe its just because I am new to wearing a Rolex that I just notice the people staring at it.
On the otherside,
I have gotten compliments about my watch from complete strangers, who ask me if its a Rolex and that the color is beautiful.
My watch does get noticed believe me and I see them staring at it.
I guess like most you seem to be all saying, just ignore them and I won't notice as time goes on.
It really is a Beautiful Watch I must say.
