My ND Sub find.

I purchased my first Rolex 2 years ago after earning my MBA. Explorer 1, a beauty. However, over the past few months I fell out of love with it, for no particular reason really, I just didn’t like the way it sat on my wrist.
So, my hunt for a ND sub was on. Little did I know of the current SS situation.

I searched high and low. Went to every AD in so cal. Went to various reputable gray dealers. Almost pulled the trigger once or twice on used, but I just couldn’t justify paying MSRP for a USED SUB!!!

Over the past few weeks, I frequented one AD in particular as it was on my way home from work. I developed a somewhat casual relationship with the manager.
We would have nice conversations here and there. He told me 6 month wait for a ND sub. I gave him my card and kindly asked him to keep me in the loop, I promised him I would drive down same day when/if he calls.

BOOM. He called me the other day. He had my ND Sub ready for pick up! He told me they get one every month and he wanted to sell his latest ND Sub to me.

I cannot stop looking at it. Moral of my story, ADs aren’t just gonna sell their stock to any Joe that walks in. They definitely have a few “in the back.” For the serious buyers. I’m in love.
