Multiple posts on this forum about Tudor GMT date issue changed my mind about buying it this summer. Doesn't make sense to purchase (and chase) a brand new watch that has a common defect, dealing with service and paying $4k for the privilege.

It's a beautiful piece, and I really wanted GMT watch for everyday wear as I actually have a need for it. But. must. resist. and use common sense. Tudor/Rolex will surely resolve whatever is causing this at manufacturing time rather than rely on RSC to fix it. I'll buy it then. I wish a sincere good luck to all who are experiencing it, and hope that fixed watch serves you a long time.

Hopefully by the time I'm ready to buy the crazy demand subsides.
