Getting a Discount on Rolex
I see this thread a lot. In this economy if you have the cash in hand it should be pretty easy to negotiate. I just purchased a SS Daytona with a 10% cash discount from an AD I had no purchase history with. I'm in sales so I'm use to getting beat up on price and also negotiating on a daily basis. It's nothing new to me.
There's always room for a discount. Don't pay retail for anything car, house, watch etc. I knew a lot of people that failed in sales. The main reason was they were pretty good at presentation, product detail, pro's and con's but couldn't do the most important part close. A lot of times it's just asking for the sale. You would be suprised at the number of people that can't do that. It's the same for a getting a discount. You can't get one if you don't ask. |
