Help buying my first Rolex
Hi all. I’m new to the forum so please be gentle!
I’m just approaching my 40th birthday and recently secured my dream job due to start the same time as my birthday so I’d really like to treat myself to a watch to commemorate. I have always loved watches but am very much a novice which very little horological understanding! I currently only have one watch - an Omega seamaster professional (Black face) which I bought to mark my 30th. Therefore this watch is likely to be both an everyday watch and also passed on to my son when he is old enough to inherit it! I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions they could make as to which Rolex may make the best purchase (Obviously I’m aware personal preference plays a huge emotional part) but knowing where to start can be tricky. My first thoughts were a daydate 41 (either silver or blue dial) on a jubilee bracelet. But I’d love to hear from people who love the brand as much as I think I’m about to! Many thanks |
