Vintage Rolex indentification

Hi All.

I'm a newbie here, this is my first post.

Curiosity led me here... I often buy old watches, don't know a huge amount about them but just like them. I recently bought the watch pictured, didn't think too much of it, opened it up and saw the familiar name on the movement. The case is 9ct hallmarked W&D, 1912, I assume Wilsdorf and Davis, the movement marked Rolex, to the front of the movement its marked Rebberg.

I believe Rebberg is a place?

I am looking for advice, and hopefully some history.

Many Thanks
