Rolex Won’t Put Jubilee Bracelet on Darejust M1601/3 from the 60s

I sent in my great grandfathers 60s era Datejust to Rolex, through an AD, to be brought up to date. (I know, I know, but I’m not looking to sell it). The bracelet the watch came with was after market and the AD said that Rolex can replace it with an oyster flex bracelet. I asked the AD if they could do a jubilee bracelet instead and they told me Rolex will only replace the bracelet that originally came with the watch. I’ve been looking on the internet at Datejusts from the 60s and 95% of the pics show the watches with jubilee bracelets. The AD said they will ask Rolex if they’ll do a jubilee bracelet but they doubt Rolex will budge. What do you guys think of all this?
