Why so many people against engraving? Engraving means writing words in a family's history. That's a very nice gesture for a man who sees that belonging beyond his own life. It's not about reselling, it's about adding value for the generations in memory and feelings, not in $$$.
Why caring about the 20+% loss of resell value in case of emergency. Who can predict what the resell value will be in 30 or 50years from now anyway?? His grand kids will think about that old grandpa's Rolex which even more special as it bears an engraved message for them and their future kids. |
