Since the BLNR is still produced "identical to the original 116710 w/ Oyster Bracelet", the watch itself is only going to change in value to the buyer, depending on how badly they want the Oyster over the Jubilee.
Is the movement so improved from 3186? From what I've read, the only major difference is the number.

I think it is nothing more than ROLEX, making change to keep the reference marketable.
