I don't mind the white dial Explorer I at all! I've recently taken a real shine to white dialled sports watches too (e.g., the discontinued Seiko SNZF11 Sea Urchin and the new, recently released Omega Seamaster Professional 300).

Even the current white dialed DJ41, OP39 and Milgauss look nice too. I think Rolex will have a hit on their hands if they release a white dialled Explorer I for Baselworld 2020.

I've always said the 40mm Explorer II Polar (16550 / 16750) is one of the most underrated sports watches out there and still represents great value for money at its current price on the secondary market.
