Red sub 1680 dial
Hello all,
I am a new member here from the UK. I own a few modern Rolex pieces but want to venture in to vintage. I came across this red sub and wondered if anyone can tell me if it's genuine. It has been serviced by a Rolex approved specialist (not a RSC) which puts most of my fears to rest but I tried checking on the DRSD site and RPR for the dial and the only thing troubling me is the O on "officially" in relation to the E on "superlative". Perhaps I am being too picky. I have been told that closed 6 examples are scarce so if anyone could confirm / deny that it would be good too. There is some flaking to the plot at the 10 position and it's a service insert but I have factored that in to the price. Any help would be great from the knowledgeable members here. Many thanks. |
