I have not read through this entire thread so I am not sure what you paid, but my opinion is that you got a better deal scoring the old clasp versus the new clasp as long as you paid the correct price for the old clasp version. It is a $725 difference between the old and new clasp in the US and quite frankly I do not think it is worth the added $725. $9200 is the MSRP for the old clasp in the US and that is steep for this watch. Just my opinion though... There are many on this forum who would gladly pay MSRP for a BNIB SS Daytona from their AD.

If you did not get the old price, call your AD and request a refund for the difference in price.
