A little off the beaten path. Incoming!!!
So, right when I saw the seiko presage and prospex anniversary chronographs were announced, I really wanted one. As per usual when I want something I research the crap out of it until I know everything there is to know. During my research I stumbled across some awesome seiko chronographs that I knew little about. Like the Pogue, or the sdgz’s and what not. But then I read this article about seiko modern chronograph movements from worn and wound:
https://wornandwound.com/chronograph...-chronographs/ After reading this article about the now discontinued 6S family and the only current mechanical 8R family of chrono movements, it was clear which one I wanted and it was the 6S, which shares heavily with the 9S/8L family of movements from Grand Seiko. It’s a really good article and you should read it. all of this research led me to Credor and their now defunct Pacific chronographs. I ended getting the GCBK997 which is a limited edition from early 2000’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
