Odd question re: abrasive caseback
I know it sounds strange, but hear me out. I've got the 42mm Submersible 682 with solid case back. There is a lot of engraving, dead center appears to be divers riding a submarine or something. At times, I swear I can feel the abrasive effects of that center engraving on my wrist. Particularly when the watch is looser on the wrist and it rotates.
Taking it off, no exaggeration, I can file my nails on that center engraved area. No joke. Is there anything I could fill in that area with that wouldn't be permanent or harm the watch? Maybe let some weak glue dry in there? Drip some wax? Got to be a simple solution. Packing tape would work but not sure I like that idea. |
