No, of course gold watches aren't 'better.' From my perspective, however, PM ownership is more of a subjective feeling, one that transcends the ordinary.

I think you're asking is it worth the money? Hell, I don't know...and don't really care. All these debates over which thing is better or what it costs or what it's going to be worth vs. what it's really worth make my head hurt.

And why do we even have these debates? Oh wait, I know. Because even though we've all violated a basic premise of common sense by spending thousands of dollars for a wristwatch, there is that core group that wants to prove its superiority because they haven't spent as much money. Right.
