Newbie wants in!!!!

Hello

I am 30yrs old and want into to the club.... However I am unable to purchase new and will start out with a used watch and look to trade up by saving.

So now for the newbie Q. does the age of the watch affect the value of it.... To make myself more clear does the same watch from say 95 worth less than a watch from 2003 If they are in the same exact contition IE + 90%.

Also how much is a watch devalued for not having papers, let us pretend you lost the papers, and ideally it was worth 5k with them. Whats it worth now

All responses will be greatly apprieciated, even if it is a sentence or two.

Thanks

M. Rios
