Looking for anyone who can provide some thought on the U1 family. Im looking to add a basic tool watch as my everyday and keep coming back to Sinn. I have a buddy who is a fanboy, but wanted some input from you guys.

I've narrowed it down to the U1 models (on rubber). Anything ya'll can provide would be helpful. Seems as though these can be had in the slightly used market in the 1200-1600 range.
