This is an unusually clean example of the Seikomatic 6206-8040, with Japanese/Kanji day wheel. Several upgrades over earlier versions of the 6206 include a screwdown caseback, a frame for the day window, and triple-faceted hands with polished sides and brushed top.

Condition
As can be seen in the photos, this watch is in outstanding condition, with the silver sunburst dial, hands and indices especially clean and bright. Perfectly aligned rehaut. It has seen some wrist time, but has been well kept and carefully worn. There are cheaper examples on eBay, and more expensive examples, but none that I have seen is close to this condition.

Service history is unknown but the movement keeps excellent time, averaging -2 seconds per day over a recent week on the wrist. See here for information about the Seiko 6200 series.
