Hi!

Just a quick message to say hello to you all, and commend you on the community you have here.

I'm new to the "watch world", but enjoying the learning process right now.

I've long owned watches, but I have never truly understood the oddities/intricacies surrounding certain brands, models, or the industry as a whole. For example, I went to an AD yesterday for the first time in my life, to buy my partner a stainless steel Rolex, and it was my first introduction to the era of unavailability we are currently in. Obviously old news to you guys, but it was a little surprising/amusing to me. This experience led me to discover the "grey market" where said stainless steel watches can sell for nearly 100% increase, and to this site where you guys reside.

Anyways, hope everyone is well, and I look forward to learning more!
