My bro's Certina...some advice needed!
Guys here is my brother's well loved Certina DS Action Chrono...its a lovely solid watch with Saphire crystal and non-reflective coating inside 200m water-resist ( though how much he cares for it, it well never see any depth of water more than simple splashing in the basin ) scre-down crown and all...well built and feel is so refined...crown is soo smooth and watch sits perfectly.
a little problem is that due to simple regular use it has acquired a few scratches ( most probably against the office table or something )...just some basic suggestions needed on how to clean its bracelet myself...can it easily be done in the house with household stuff and what stuff to use?..thnx a lot...not much damage..pics shared below...the wirst-shots are on my brother's wrist..the one against another watch is against my tissot PR50 on my wrist..the 12 o'clock end of the bracelet, as you can see, has all the scratches while the six o'clock end is still as good as new...I've shown both for comparison..I want the 12 o'clock end like the six o'clock one. p.s. I know some people might say that scratches add history and character but my brother would prefer a spotless watch, which is tough to keep...but he was maintaining it until my other brother wore it for ten days to his work-site p.s.s. sorry for the pictures being huge and not so good...my first experience with taking a watch pic. |
