Like many, had my reservations about wearing a gold watch as everything else I own is SS and much more under the radar. A gold watch definitely felt like a guilty pleasure that I never thought I could pull off...but wanted to experience so badly!

I told myself that it would have to be the president bracelet for my first PM watch. Must be all gold in it’s truest form. No rose gold or white gold. Go big or go home!

I really loved the look of the romans as I think they look extremely classy. Just more interesting to my eye vs the sticks. And I was between silver and white dial and chose silver due to its sunburst dial and multiple personalities.

Well, so far all I can think is “Why didn’t I do this earlier??” . Amazing piece! The silver almost basically looks either champagne or white, depending on lighting. And plays off really well with the gold fluted bezel and roman markers. The watch definitely has a solid heft to it which feels great on the wrist.

I have smaller wrist size so was looking at 36mm as well but the proportions of the DD40 IMO are much better. Fits very similar to my daytona.

Anyways, on to the pics. Stay safe everyone!
