hello all. growing up my father had what I assume was a 2 tone datejust he purchased from Hong Kong many many years ago. I was always amazed by it and just the fact that he had a gold watch, I was in a state of ahhhh. well, when my brother turned 16, he sold it to help him buy his first vehicle, which by the way he ended up wrecking it. I think in a way it broke my dads heart.
fastforward a few years, and now Ive got the itch for my first Rolex. I think used would be my best bet and from what my local jeweler and a respected forum member has advised, submariner is my best bet. on the hunt and appreciate the community. have a good weekend you all. |
