Going to Scotland, Advice Needed

Hello, I will be going to Scotland in early April with two of my good friends and would like to get some advice and where to go and what to do. I know we will be in Ediburgh and Dundee, one of my friends has family members in both those cities. We are mid-20's, so we are interested in possibly doing some cool outdoor type stuff. I like to flyfish so if anyone had any advice for one day trips or places to go, that would be awesome. Any other advice on cool places to go and good places to eat would be very welcome. Thanks in advance.
