Thankfully I had a background in accounting and financial services. I was able to barter these skills with the guards and the warden for preferential treatment, beer, etc. One of my other hobbies, rock polishing, came in real handy as I had my buddy, Red, get me rock hammer (pressure and time...). After about 25 years, I was able to burrow my way out of prison with the wardens money I had helped him embezzle, escape to Mexico, and start rebuilding an old sailboat on the beach. Later, my friend Red came to Mexico and we went to TJ and bought 2 Rolexes to replace the one I left at the old house.
