A week on the wrist...

After purchasing the 16600, a friend of mine who has a 5513 Sub commented that the SD may be too much for my "less than burly" wrist. I assured him it was fine.

After a week on the wrist, I couldn't be happier with the size of this watch. Typically I wear a 36 to 38mm watch, with some of my vintage watches down to a 34mm. The 40mm took a little time to get used to... maybe a whole 10 minutes or so.

The Oyster bracelet is amazingly comfortable and once I put the SD on, its like it isn't even there. It doesn't pinch, pull or bind the way the steel band on my King Seiko Hi-Beat does.

I think this watch and I are going to have a long and happy relationship.
