Issue with a new Sub date

I picked up a Sub date new from an AD few days ago. When I pull the crown to position 2 to set time, sometimes the crown will slip/click before time can be set. At few other times, there is a distinct clunky feeling when setting time as if gears are not not properly aligned. But 7/10 times, the crown is pulled out to position 2 without an issue and time setting is smooth.Has anyone else experienced this?
