Wife’s 40th birthday later this year and thought I’d get her something special as a surprise, and nothing better than a watch to mark a special occasion. She’s a huge fan of my WG Daytona and also generally a fan of rose gold jewellery, so it wasn’t really a tough choice.

Whilst these aren’t necessarily in super high demand, they can still prove tricky to source, so very grateful to my AD for once again coming up with the goods.

It’s not her birthday until October, and somehow I’ve got to keep this a secret until then! Can’t wait to give it to her!

My only regret is that I let my 116500 go to a friend a while back as it wasn’t getting any wrist time, I now realise it’s very different to the 116519 in the way it wears, and I desperately wish I’d kept it. What a trio that would be!
